Leave the slab closed

The grade on the label is part of the offer. Cracking a PSA 10 to “show the card” throws away the grade. Bring the case as it is, including the label. Staff look at the card through the holder and at the grade that was assigned.

A 10, a 9, and an 8 of the same card are different items. The set still matters. A gem-mint copy of a common and a gem-mint copy of a chase card do not travel together in the market. The explanation at the counter names the card, not only the number on the label.

Raw cards in the same box
